You can set up certain audio profiles for your music, choosing among specific brand earbuds, built-in speakers, external speakers, each android tablet pc profile is supposed to give the music a bit of oomph by tying it into a specific device. Some profiles are accessible for free; others require you to upgrade to the app's paid version.

After you select a profile, a B button on the play screen lets you increase the volume and bass of your android tablet pc current song. Enabling this option did bump up both the volume and quality of the music. So that benefit alone makes Bongiovi DPS a better choice than the android tablet pc Music app.

The basic Bongiovi app is free but comes with advertising at the bottom, which I found fairly unobtrusive. But if you want an ad-free experience and the extra audio profiles, you'll have to shell out $2.99 for the upgrade. Bongiovi DPS is also available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Since downloading Bongiovi DPS, I've switched to this one as my core music app. I like the interface, the sound, and the ability to access podcasts and audiobooks as well as albums. This app's a winner for me.
it's had something of a rocky start. The service is available only from select cable/satellite providers, and only on certain devices.

For example, HBO recently updated the HBO Go Android app to support devices running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). But android tablet pc users? Outta luck.

Not for long. As PC Magazine reported last week, HBO Go for Android tablets is in the works and "coming early this summer," according to an HBO spokesperson. The updated app will be "optimized for most Android tablets, including Kindle Fire."

The bad news? Same as always: You can't just buy HBO Go a-la-carte. If you want this awesomeness for Android tablet pc or the like, you must subscribe to HBO via your cable/satellite provider. And although most of the major ones are now carrying it, there are still some holdouts.

In fact, Comcast subscribers still can't get HBO Go via Roku, which annoys me to no end. But Comcast does support the current Android app (along with iOS versions), so there's no reason to think the upcoming update won't.

And I'd be surprised to ever see the app on an Apple TV, though there is a way to watch HBO Go on an Apple TV, sort of.

Personally, I'll be very happy to add android tablet pcthe little tablet will offer a better TV selection than anything else I own.

I wish HBO GO will take the block off of the HDMI connection for android tablet pc

Small-business IT departments plan on using google android tablets to replace notebooks and arm an expanding workforce.
More than half of small and midsize businesses in the United States have employees using a tablet PC, according to a study by market strategy specialist iGR. The survey of more than 400 businesses found that 52 percent currently use a tablet like an Apple iPad or Google Android-powered device to help run their business.
Approximately 47 percent of SMB respondents said that they use their google android tablet for both work and personal matters. While directors, managers and staff were more likely to use the tablet for personal matters, higher-level personnel were more likely to report using their google android tablet for work.
The most reported reason for purchasing additional tablets in 2012 was "substituting for laptops" (31.9 percent), followed by "workforce is increasing" (31 percent). However, the majority of companies with plans to buy google android tablets indicated that their plans to purchase notebooks remained about the same.
The allure of tablet PC devices is also changing the way businesses plan future IT investments, the report indicated. Approximately 26 percent of respondents said that their company would be buying fewer or far fewer laptops as a result of their tablet purchases in 2012, while 24 percent of SMBs surveyed indicated supplying corporate tablet devices to employees as part of an official policy.
